Job summary

The Jamiyah Singapore is seeking a Foodbank Logistics and Distribution Driver to transport and distribute food and non-food items to mini-foodbanks, beneficiaries, donors and partner organisations. You will support warehousing operations, loading/unloading, and inventory control while ensuring safety and adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities include reporting to the officer-in-charge, maintaining trip logs, performing vehicle inspections, and coordinating with the Warehouse

Qualifications

• Valid Class 4 driving license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of Singapore road networks and vehicle safety standards.
• Ability to lift and transport food items and supplies.
• Strong time management to handle multiple deliveries and warehouse tasks.
• Physically able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Report punctually to the officer-in-charge of daily task assignments.
• Safely transport food, non-food items, and essential supplies to designated locations.
• Ensure safety of transported items and passengers during transit.
• Maintain detailed trip logs and delivery records.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Assist in loading/unloading and warehouse activities; support FIFO/FEFO methods.
