Job summary

CHAO YUAN PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Food Services Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and ensure smooth daily service in a Teochew dining environment in Singapore.

The role requires 5+ years in food service management, English proficiency, and knowledge of Teochew cuisine. You will coordinate with the kitchen, train staff, manage guest relations, and ensure health and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience in the food service industry.
• Knowledge of Teochew/Cinese dining culture preferred.
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin/Teochew dialect preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, team-building and conflict-resolution skills.
• Willingness to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FOH operations, ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, recruit, schedule, and train front-of-house staff.
• Maintain high service standards and handle customer feedback.
• Coordinate with Head Chef on order pacing and menu specials.
• Monitor daily sales, labor costs, and inventory flow.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations.
• Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned.
