Job summary

Sin Chew Woodpaq Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to manage daily scheduling and fleet deployments for heavy vehicles. You will coordinate with warehouses and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and compliant documentation.

Responsibilities include driver dispatch, GPS monitoring, safety paperwork, and cross-team coordination. The role requires English fluency and Mandarin proficiency, a Diploma in Logistics, and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English; Mandarin required for liaising with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and clients.
• 3 years or more in logistics operations and fleet control is preferred.
• Diploma in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics operations and fleet assignments.
• Plan and prioritize daily activities; deploy drivers and heavy vehicles.
• Submit name lists and pre-job clearance documents.
• Coordinate with trailer & crane subcontractors as needed.
• Ensure job requirements are clearly disseminated to stakeholders.
• Monitor daily jobs to meet service standards and deadlines.
• Track drivers via GPS; ensure safety documentation is prepared.
• Coordinate with warehouse for cargo inflow/outflow.
• Arrange drivers for material/equipment pickup.
• Collaborate with other controllers for efficient job coordination.
• Arrange manpower for safety rectifications; liaise with HR on training and overtime.
