Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore seeks an Accounts Receivable specialist to join the Finance team for an 11-month contract. You will handle daily AR tasks, bank reconciliations, and collaborate with IT and vendors to resolve system issues.

Key responsibilities include monitoring interfaces, assisting in troubleshooting, attending meetings, and ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, Excel proficiency, and proactive teamwork under tight

Qualifications

• Areas of study in Accounting or other relevant professional qualifications
• Good analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel
• Independent, confident, meticulous, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, good team player, willing to take up challenges and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Strong accounting knowledge
• IT programming skills would be an added advantage
• Experience in Workday is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing daily bank reconciliation and escalating discrepancies which may indicate underlying system issues to IT or system vendors.
• Attending regular meetings with IT and external vendors and providing Finance’s operational input.
• Assisting in troubleshooting system issues affecting day-to-day Finance operations.
• Working with IT and vendors to investigate and resolve operational system issues.
• Reviewing system workflows and highlighting gaps or control issues for follow-up.
• Providing ground-level operational support for cross-functional system and process improvement initiatives; and
• Monitoring system interfaces, identifying failed or incomplete transmissions, and following up with IT and external vendors to ensure timely resolution.
