Job summary

National Parks Board in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Receivable clerk to join the Finance team on an 11-month contract. The role focuses on daily bank reconciliation, working with IT and external vendors, and troubleshooting system issues that impact finance operations.

The ideal candidate has accounting education, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. IT programming skills and Workday experience are considered advantages.

Qualifications

• Areas of study in Accounting or other relevant professional qualifications.
• Strong accounting knowledge and analytical ability are required.
• Experience with Workday is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing daily bank reconciliation and escalating discrepancies which may indicate underlying system issues to IT or system vendors.
• Attending regular meetings with IT and external vendors and providing Finance's operational input.
• Assisting in troubleshooting system issues affecting day-to-day Finance operations.
• Working with IT and vendors to investigate and resolve operational system issues.
• Reviewing system workflows and highlighting gaps or control issues for follow-up.
• Providing ground-level operational support for cross-functional system and process improvement initiatives; and
• Monitoring system interfaces, identifying failed or incomplete transmissions, and following up with IT and external vendors to ensure timely resolution.
