Job summary

Excel Talent in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting professional to manage day-to-day AP, AR and GL transactions, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting. You will analyze workflows, prepare schedules, perform reconciliations, and support GST submissions while adhering to SFRS, with 1–3 years of relevant experience and strong Excel and ERP skills.

This role offers exposure to local statutory compliance and cross-functional teamwork within a growing finance function

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accountancy or finance
• 1–3 years of AP/AR/GL accounting experience
• Proficient in accounting software; familiarity with Microsoft Business Central is advantageous
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial data management

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day AP, AR, and GL transactions accurately to maintain financial records.
• Analyze AP and AR workflows to identify and implement improvements that increase process efficiency.
• Prepare detailed financial schedules, perform bank reconciliations, and compile trial balances within established deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) in all accounting activities.
• Support quarterly GST submissions by preparing required documentation and ensuring compliance.
