Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a capable finance professional to support day-to-day accounting operations in our Singapore offices. The role involves preparing accurate accounting entries to support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes, and performing balance sheet reconciliations in line with IFRS.

You will assist in statutory audits, ensure adherence to internal controls and SOX/ICFR requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet reporting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree in accountancy/finance or related discipline; professional qualification is a plus.
• 2–5 years of experience in financial accounting, operational finance, audit, or GL accounting.
• Knowledge of IFRS, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Understanding of internal controls, SOX/ICFR requirements, and financial compliance practices is an advantage.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion) and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day financial operations of assigned business processes and legal entities.
• Prepare accurate and timely accounting entries to support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accounting records are accurate and compliant with IFRS.
• Support statutory audits and assist in maintaining compliance with internal controls and SOX/ICFR requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and reporting deadlines are met.
• Perform other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.
