Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support day-to-day financial operations and month-end activities. You will process payments, prepare journal entries, and ensure accurate recording of system transactions.

You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, prepare audit schedules, assess accounting treatments, support finance projects, and drive process improvements while maintaining robust documentation and compliance with standards

Responsibilities

• Process payments to third parties accurately and on time
• Prepare monthly audit schedules
• Prepare journal entries for month-end closing
• Ensure all system transactions are properly recorded
• Process monthly staff claims
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on accounting and audit matters
• Assess the appropriate accounting treatment for payments
• Work with Business Units to ensure timely payment processing
• Support finance projects and system enhancements
• Improve finance processes for better efficiency and accuracy
• Maintain proper process documentation
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations and internal controls
