Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage journal entries, monthly closings, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will liaise with business units and Finance Operations to ensure timely recording of revenues and expenses and provide explanations for P&L fluctuations.

The role also covers tax schedule preparation, audits, and supervision of junior staff. Preferred candidates hold a degree in accountancy with 3 years of similar experience,

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Diploma in Accountancy or partial ACCA.
• Preferably 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Audit experience, especially within MNCs or healthcare sectors, is preferred.
• Experience handling large portfolios with multiple legal entities reporting.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on role to complete all Journal entries by the stipulated timelines for the business units/entities in-charge.
• Liaise with business units and Finance Operations Team to ensure timely monthly recording of revenue and expenses with no major omissions.
• Highlight monthly P&L fluctuations with explanations.
• Address emerging issues, drive resolutions, and continuously improve processes for smooth operations.
• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet schedules and clear long outstanding items.
• Prepare Tax schedules for Group Tax Department and support tax-related queries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
• Assist in yearly stock take and incentives computation.
• Ensure compliance with SOP in daily work.
• Support reporting Manager in supervision of staff and ad-hoc tasks.
