ConnectedGroup is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee comprehensive finance and accounting activities for the Singapore region. The role emphasizes full [set of] accounts, performance management, governance, and cross-functional collaboration for strategic decisions.

Key duties include financial closing, reporting, budgeting, cashflow management, and partnering with global and regional teams to drive efficiency.

Competenze

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline is required.
• Qualified Accountant designation is required.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in finance positions including accounting operations, reporting and FP&A.
• At least 5 years of retail finance experience.
• Proactive, strong leadership, and able to partner with senior stakeholders.

This position will also contribute to ongoing process enhancements, system initiatives, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including financial closing and statutory-related activities.
• Prepare regular financial reports and performance analyses for senior management.
• Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with global planning cycles, and work closely with functional leaders to validate assumptions and ensure robust plans.
• Partner with global and regional finance teams to ensure accuracy and alignment.
• Monitor daily cashflow positions and prepare periodic cashflow projections.
• Provide financial analysis, modelling, and advisory support to business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and overall profitability.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant discipline. Qualified Accountant is required.
• At least 8 years' relevant experience in all rounded finance positions, including accounting operations, reporting & FP&A.
• At least 5 years of retail finance experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven business partnering experience, able to provide sound recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, and comfortable working under tight timelines.
• Strong leadership qualities with a high level of integrity.
• Proficient in common office tools and finance systems.
• Strong communication skills in English, and Chinese-speaking candidates is highly advantageous
