Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience

• Prior experience in a managerial role would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Oversee the company’s financial accounting and corporate reporting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting

• Establish, maintain, and review accounting policies and procedures in line with regulatory and reporting requirements

• Supervise and review financial statements, management reports, forecasts, and business performance reports for internal and external stakeholders

• Analyse financial performance and financial position across business units, and recommend appropriate accounting treatments and process improvements

• Provide financial leadership and professional judgement on accounting matters to support sound decision-making and sustainable business growth

• Oversee corporate tax matters, including computation of taxable income and tax liabilities

• Manage and resolve tax-related issues to ensure compliance while optimising tax efficiency

• Provide timely and accurate tax-related updates and advice to management

• Support management in evaluating business decisions through financial analysis and insights

• Lead and manage the annual budgeting process, including monitoring performance against budget and presenting key financial findings to management

• Enhance management accounting processes and improve reporting systems for better efficiency and integration

• Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities

• Ensure annual financial audits are completed accurately and within stipulated timelines
