Job summary

A leading finance firm in Singapore is seeking a seasoned finance professional to manage full spectrum finance operations, including compliance and reporting. The ideal candidate should have over 7 years of experience in finance/accounting, particularly in the gaming or fintech sectors. Proficiency in Mandarin is required to engage effectively with Chinese-speaking clients. This role offers a dynamic environment focused on strategic decision-making and financial processes improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of finance/accounting experience, ideally in gaming, entertainment, tech, or fintech.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and controls; familiar with SFRS/IFRS.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, ROI evaluation, and business performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full spectrum of finance operations, including accounting, reporting, consolidation, and compliance with SFRS/IFRS.
• Drive financial planning & analysis (FP&A) – budgeting, forecasting, ROI analysis for gaming projects, and performance tracking.
• Monitor and manage financial statements and key balance sheet items (cash flow, AR/AP, securities, derivatives).
• Ensure compliance with audit, tax, and regulatory requirements; liaise with auditors, advisors, and regulators.
• Partner with leadership to provide business insights, support strategic decision-making, and improve financial processes.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/ACCA/CFA preferred.
• 7+ years of finance/accounting experience, ideally in gaming, entertainment, tech, or fintech.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and controls; familiar with SFRS/IFRS.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, ROI evaluation, and business performance analysis.
• Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking clients and counterparts.
