Job summary

Vasco Maritime Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage full accounting cycles, assist in month-end close, and coordinate with secretarial and statutory bodies. The role involves preparing financial statements, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with tax and reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting standards (FRS116), asset management including fixed assets and ROU, and experience coordinating with auditors and bankers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full sets of accounting & report to Managements and Finance Head
• Support internal & external audit up to filing of Company's Annual Returns
• Timely & accurate financial reporting & analysis
• Liaising with Company's secretary for all secretarial works & Statutory boards
• Responsible to coordinate with Bankers & Statutory Boards
• Annual budget & forecasts
• With Knowledge of FRS116 and with experience in maintaining Company’s Fixed assets and ROU Schedule
• With Knowledge in working on Capital allowance for different category of fixed assets
• With Knowledge and relevant Experience in Working of Withholding tax, including review and filing to local statutory board
• Verification of Agents Statement of Account to ensure correctness of Revenues and Cost reported
• Maintain Cash book & Management company’s cash flow along with Finance Senior Team
• Admin duties and maintain important statutory and other commercial documents
