Job summary

atlas cloud services in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for all group entities. The role includes AP/AR, invoicing for GPU usage, and ensuring timely collections.

The candidate will handle fixed assets, import documentation, and GST/VAT compliance, while supporting ERP implementations and intercompany reconciliations. Strong Excel and multi-currency experience are desirable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CA, ICAEW, or equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience in fast-growing startups or multi-entity environments.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping, AP/AR, tax compliance, banking operations, and financial controls.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for all group entities.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including payments and processing.
  • Prepare customer invoices for GPU usage and follow up on collections.
  • Review employee expense reimbursement claims per policy.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers including depreciation for GPU and other assets.
  • Coordinate import documentation, customs clearance, and related records.
  • Prepare and file routine indirect tax returns (GST/VAT, withholding tax).
  • Manage bank accounts opening, maintenance for new entities.
  • Prepare intercompany reconciliations and support group consolidation.

Job description

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for all group entities.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including payment processing and initiation through Citibank and other banking platforms.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices for GPU compute usage and actively follow up on outstanding collections.
  • Review employee expense reimbursement claims and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate fixed asset registers, including additions, disposals, and depreciation records for GPU and other assets.
  • Coordinate import documentation, customs clearance processes, and related records for GPU shipments and equipment acquisitions.
  • Prepare and file routine indirect tax returns, including GST/VAT filings, withholding tax submissions, and other statutory reporting requirements.
  • Manage bank account opening, maintenance, and documentation requirements for newly incorporated entities.
  • Prepare intercompany reconciliations and support group consolidation processes.
  • Support ERP implementation projects, accounting system improvements, and migration of finance operations in-house, including master data setup and data entry.
  • Handle KYC, compliance, and corporate governance documentation required by banks, auditors, regulators, customers, and business partners.
  • Ensure timely execution and authorization of payments in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial, corporate, legal, and operational documents for all entities.
  • Liaise with external parties including auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, customs agents, and regulatory authorities.
  • Assist management with financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CA, ICAEW, or equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably in a fast-growing startup or multi-entity environment.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping, AP/AR, tax compliance, banking operations, and financial controls.
  • Experience with ERP systems implementation or accounting system migration is preferred.
  • Familiarity with international business operations, intercompany transactions, and multi-currency accounting.
  • Experience handling import/export documentation and customs-related processes is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
