Overview
We are seeking an accounting professional to help us manage and run the finance division across the group and its subsidiaries. The main responsibilities are:
Responsibilities
- Support the group CFO in establishing the finance function across the group.
- Maintain the ledgers and record keeping across the group.
- Accounting expertise, IFRS & SFRS.
- Financial reporting at entity level and consolidation at group level.
- Support the CFO in setting up the core banking system and ERP by providing accounting expertise and working closing with the relevant teams such as IT, Ops, Risk, etc.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing the finance policies and procedures.
- Support the tax reporting of VAT, Transfer Pricing, etc.
- Lead the balance sheet substantiation process.
- Lead external audits across the group and its subsidiaries.
- Other finance tasks as part of BAU.
Qualifications
- Qualified CPA/ACCA with experience in the banking industry.
- Experience working for a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Knowledge of financial statements preparation as per IFRS & SFRS.
- Banking industry knowledge and preferably digital assets as well.
- Accounting knowledge of financial products like treasury bills (premium/discount), bonds, sukuks, money market instruments, mutual funds, and preferably stable coins (Digital asset).
