Job summary

IDEALS RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior finance leader in Singapore to drive the finance team and oversee accounting functions including AP, AR, GL, and financial reporting.

The role ensures robust internal controls, statutory compliance, and governance across business units. The incumbent will manage cash flow, audits, tax, and stakeholder engagements while guiding budgeting, forecasting, and strategic cost optimisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Chartered Accountant qualification with ISCA membership.
• Minimum 7 years of finance/accounting experience, including audit and managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS, Singapore statutory requirements, taxation, and corporate governance.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Finance team, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure strong internal controls, compliance with SFRS and statutory requirements, and effective corporate governance.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, audits, tax, and stakeholder engagements.
• Analyse financial performance, provide strategic recommendations, and drive cost optimisation.
• Lead finance process improvements, digitalisation initiatives, and support business transformation projects.
• Perform other finance and management duties as assigned.
