Job summary

8M REAL ESTATE PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a final-year accounting student to assist in daily finance tasks in Singapore. The role involves bank reconciliations, journal entries, and closing support, with exposure to Yardi PMS for AR/AP activities.

You will contribute to data integrity, assist in system migration, and help present financial analyses to management, while maintaining well-organised records and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Final year students pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
• Fastidious and proactive, ability to follow up with time-sensitive matters.
• Clear and concise communication skills (to express accurate information internally, and appropriate information to external parties).
• Team player, with a positive personality.
• Good verbal and written business communication.
• Organised and able to multi-task with an eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly bank reconciliation and assist in monthly closing activities including journal entries and accruals.
• Assist in finance system migration and data validation, and reconcile data across systems.
• Support management with basic financial analysis and data summarisation, and maintain proper filing of records.
• Manage monthly billing and invoicing and oversee AR processes in Yardi PMS, including tenant collections and reconciliations.
• Record vendor invoices in Yardi PMS, verify approvals, and process payments in online banking.
