We are looking for a responsible, organised and hands‑on Finance & HR Executive to manage the day‑to‑day finance and human resources administration of our growing business.
This job role covers finance administration, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, HR administration, statutory compliance and general office administration.
(1) ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Finance & Accounting
- Manage day-time finance and accounting administration, ensuring transactions and documentation are accurate and properly recorded.
- Maintain accounting records, general ledgers and supporting documentation in the company's accounting system.
- Process accounts payable (AP), including supplier invoices, invoice verification, payment documentation and payment schedules.
- Manage accounts receivable (AR), including customer invoices, collections and monitoring of outstanding balances.
- Prepare and perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of company cash balances and transactions.
- Assist with daily and monthly cash flow tracking, including monitoring upcoming supplier payments and other commitments.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, tax agents and finance service providers on accounting and compliance matters.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Support GST and other statutory/tax submissions, ensuring information and supporting documents are complete and submitted on time.
- Support management in maintaining appropriate financial controls and approval processes.
2. HR & Payroll Administration
- Manage the full monthly payroll process, ensuring salaries, CPF contributions, allowances, commissions, claims and other payments are accurately calculated and processed on time.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including employment contracts, personal particulars, salary information, leave records and other HR documentation.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, system access, work pass matters and relevant administrative arrangements.
- Ensure timely submission and administration of statutory requirements such as CPF, Skills Development Levy (SDL), FWL and other applicable statutory contributions.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all employee personal, salary and payroll information.
- Keep up to date with relevant Singapore employment and statutory requirements and elevate potential compliance issues to management.
(2) REQUIREMENTS
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, HR administration or a similar combined Finance & HR role.
- Experience working in an SME or fast-growing business environment where you are expected to be hands‑on and take ownership of your responsibilities.
- Practical knowledge of Singapore accounting, payroll, CPF and employment administration.
- Experience with payroll processing and statutory submissions would be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with accounting, payroll and HR/ERP systems.
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software would be an advantage.
- High level of integrity and discretion, particularly when handling company financial information and confidential employee salary and personal information.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with employees, suppliers and external service providers.
