Job summary

FAITH METHODIST CHURCH in Singapore is seeking a Finance Executive to maintain accurate accounts receivable records, manage petty cash controls, process missionary support payments and staff or volunteer expense claims, and keep financial records well organised for easy retrieval.

The role covers monthly closing, bank reconciliations, audit support, and assisting with year-end processes, with duties assigned by the Finance Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy or Finance related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance.
• Experience in charity or church sector is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero or similar accounting systems.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with high integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounts receivable records and reconcile daily receipts.
• Manage petty cash controls and input into the accounting system with proper documentation.
• Process missionary support payments and staff/volunteer expense claims.
• Perform month-end closing of accounts and bank reconciliations.
• Support year-end external audit and prepare required schedules.
• Take on other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
