minden.ai in Singapore is seeking a Finance Executive / Specialist on a 1-year contract to support day-to-day finance operations, month-end close, partner reconciliations, and statutory audit activities. You will help maintain the general ledger, prepare schedules, and ensure timely financial reporting.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, experience in GL accounting and reconciliations, knowledge of SFRS, and proficiency in Xero and Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Experience in general ledger accounting, reconciliations and month-end closing is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Proficiency in Xero or similar ERP/accounting software and Excel.
• Experience supporting statutory audits or working with external auditors is a plus.
• Able to commit to a 1-year fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, reclassifications and provisions, in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the chart of accounts is applied accurately and consistently.
• Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations, investigate variances and resolve reconciling items promptly.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of schedules and supporting documentation.
• Perform regular reconciliations of partner, related-party and intercompany accounts, including A/R and A/P balances.
• Prepare and circulate partner and intercompany balance confirmations, and follow up with counterparties for timely responses.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies identified during reconciliation and confirmation processes.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for statutory audits.
• Respond to auditor requests by providing reconciliations, general ledger extracts and supporting documentation.
• Assist the Finance team in tracking and resolving outstanding audit queries.
