Job summary

Motional Singapore Pte. Limited is seeking an experienced Associate Accounts Executive for a 1-year contract. You will support day-to-day accounting, ensure accurate financial reporting, and assist with month-end closings in a fast-paced tech environment.

The role emphasizes GL management, reconciliations, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including tax agents and auditors. Night meetings across time zones may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience with partial-set accounting.
• Strong understanding of FRS, corporate taxation, and local statutory compliance.
• Good knowledge of month-end closing processes, reconciliations and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including bookkeeping and GL activities.
• Monitor bank balances and coordinate funding requests.
• Prepare and post entries, including accruals and adjustments.
• Perform month-end closing and prepare reconciliations.
• Review Balance Sheet and P&L for accuracy and classifications.
• Maintain records per FRS and company policies.
• Support external audits and liaise with auditors and tax agents.
• Collaborate with US Finance team; occasional night meetings for cross-time zones.
• Assist corporate secretarial tasks via DocuSign and banking updates.
