Job summary

ECICS LIMITED in Singapore seeks a Finance Executive to support daily financial operations, ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting within a regulated general insurance environment.

The role covers full finance functions including AR, AP, and GL, month-end closes, and preparation of regulatory returns. Immediate availability is preferred and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Finance/Accounting/Business or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, able to work independently while contributing as a team member.
• Immediate availability or short notice preferred; fresh graduates also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
• Perform month-end closing activities and debtors’ aging reconciliation.
• Prepare investment journals and perform investment reconciliations.
• Reconcile core system reports with the General Ledger monthly.
• Assist in regulatory returns, financial statements, and statutory reporting.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Finance Executive to support the daily financial operations of the Company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role is critical in maintaining strong financial controls and supporting business growth within a regulated general insurance environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full spectrum of finance functions, including but not limited to Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL)
• Perform month-end closing activities, including debtors' ageing reconciliation, preparation of statements of account, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare investment journals and perform investment reconciliations
• Perform monthly reconciliations between core system reports and the General Ledger
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory returns, financial statements, and other statutory reporting requirements
• Support internal and external audits by providing the necessary documentation and information.
• Undertake any other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Business, or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the insurance industry
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to manage tasks independently while contributing effectively as a team player
• Eager to learn, adaptable to change, and committed to continuous improvement
• Immediate availability or short notice period is preferred
• Fresh Graduates from school who are keen to learn in the insurance industry are welcome to apply.
