Job summary

Chan Brothers Travel (Pte) Limited, based in Singapore, is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage daily AP/AR/GL tasks, verify invoices, process payments and staff claims, and support the finance team. You will perform monthly reconciliations, generate department statements, and assist with monthly/ad hoc reports and audit schedules, contributing to timely financial closing.

Requirements include a degree or diploma in accounting (ACCA/AAT preferred), at least 2 years of relevant experience, and

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, ACCA, AAT or other professional accounting qualifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with hands-on accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily operational AP/AR/GL tasks including verifying, invoicing, payment, receipts, staff claims, and others.
• Perform Monthly Reconciliation.
• Generate statements of accounts for the respective departments and customers.
• Assist in preparation of monthly and ad hoc reports and audit schedules.
• Assist with monthly financial closing and ensure responsible accounting entries are properly, timely and accurately updated.
• Perform general bookkeeping, prepare quarterly GST return and handle full sets of accounts.
• Perform other supporting functions within the Finance Department.
• Perform other duties to be assigned.
