Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a meticulous Finance cum Admin Executive to support daily finance operations with focus on AR and AP, plus administrative tasks. You will work with internal teams, customers and suppliers to keep records accurate and ensure timely collections and payments.

The role requires a Diploma in Accounting or related field, at least 2 years of AR/AP experience, preferably in retail, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance or related, from a local polytechnic.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably handling both AR and AP.
• Retail experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting software.

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous and organised Finance cum Admin Executive to support our daily finance operations, with a primary focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), alongside general administrative support. You will work closely with internal teams, customers and suppliers to maintain accurate records and ensure timely collections and payments.

About you

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline from a local polytechnic.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably handling both AR and AP.
• Experience in the retail industry will be an advantage.
• Sound understanding of basic accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Excel Solver and familiar with accounting software.
• Meticulous, organised and able to manage deadlines accurately.
• Good communication and follow-up skills when liaising with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
