Job summary

Private Advertiser is urgently seeking a full-time Finance & Accounting Executive to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end closing procedures.

Responsibilities include payroll support, GST submissions, and ensuring data confidentiality. Work week is 5 days from 9am to 6pm, with salary commensurate to experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec in Accounting or equivalent, Diploma in Accounting, or CAT/LCCI certification.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and the bookkeeping process.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
• Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions accurately and promptly.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit cards and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Process invoices, receipts and expense documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Schedule and track payments to suppliers.
• Maintain organised and up-to-date accounting records and filing systems.
• Prepare trial balances and assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements for management review.
• Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks as required.
• Prepare and submit GST.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and adhering to data protection protocols.
