Job summary

WEST SIRIUS ENGINEERING SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Field Technician to support the POS terminal rental business by attending onsite service requests, installing and replacing terminals, performing basic troubleshooting, and assisting merchants. You must own a motorbike and be willing to travel for onsite support.

Responsibilities include installation and replacement of terminals, basic setup, troubleshooting, and ensuring accurate records and stock updates for returned devices.

Qualifications

Nitec or Diploma in Electronics, IT, Engineering or related fields.
Able to communicate in English.
Possess own motorbike and willing to travel for onsite support.
Basic computer and mobile app skills.

Responsibilities

Install, replace, swap or collect POS terminals at merchant locations.
Perform basic setup, including power connection, SIM card checking, network connection, printer roll installation and device testing.
Guide merchants on basic terminal usage and provide updates on job progress.
Collect faulty or returned terminals and accessories, record serial numbers and assist with stock updates.
