Job summary

TRIVANCED PTE LTD is seeking a field service-oriented engineer to perform repairs, maintenance, and installation of semiconductor equipment. The role requires hands-on technical work on-site, with responsibilities spanning troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of complex systems.

Candidates should have ICT/engineering background and be willing to travel locally and overseas, including overtime when required. Cleanroom and height-work experience are advantages for this position.

Qualifications

• ITE, diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics engineering.
• Experience in equipment servicing or semiconductor equipment is advantageous.
• Able to work in cleanrooms, at height and in confined spaces.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, refurbishment, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment and semiconductor systems.
• Carry out on-site equipment installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, warranty support, and technical troubleshooting.
• Support engineering projects, equipment upgrades, testing, and system integration as assigned.
• Verify the condition and completeness of equipment, spare parts, tools, and accessories before and after service activities.
• Prepare accurate service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
• Comply with all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), cleanroom, and PPE requirements, including working at height and in confined spaces when required.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver timely and effective technical support.
• Attend technical training and travel locally or overseas for customer support, equipment installation, and project work.

Requirements

• Minimum ITE, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in equipment servicing, maintenance, field service, or semiconductor equipment is an advantage.
• Able to perform manual tasks and comfortable working in cleanrooms, at height, and in confined spaces.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas, and work overtime when required.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to follow technical instructions.
• Work at Height (WAH) certification is an added advantage.
