Job summary

AEM SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of AEM equipment at customer sites.

Fresh graduates are welcome; applicants with up to 1 year of field service experience gain an edge. Proficiency in MS Office, the ability to lift equipment, and willingness to travel are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; up to 1 year field service/tech support experience adds value.
• Proficient in MS Office and Windows-based systems.
• Hands-on with mechanical and electrical equipment, tools and testing instruments.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting electronic, electromechanical, mechanical or fluid handling systems is advantageous.
• Experience with Semiconductor Test Equipment/FT/ATE is a plus but not required.
• Professional, customer-focused mindset with commitment to quality and safety.
• Able to lift equipment and stand for extended periods; willing to travel within Singapore and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Support field installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities for AEM equipment.
• Work closely with senior engineers to resolve equipment and system issues at customer sites.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving product quality, reliability, and functionality concerns.
• Maintain a high level of responsiveness in closing customer service requests and escalations.
• Provide timely updates and technical support to customers under guidance of senior team members.
• Assist in developing and maintaining Best Known Methods (BKM), Work Instructions (WI), Technical Service Bulletins (TSB), and other service documentation.
• Follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures during all service activities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and other internal teams to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency and reduce recurring field issues.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Windows-based systems.
• Hands‑on with mechanical and electrical equipment, tools, and testing instruments.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, or fluid handling systems is advantageous.
• Experience in Semiconductor Test Equipment, FT (Final Test), or ATE (Automated Test Equipment) is a plus but not required.
• Professional and customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to quality and safety.
• Able to lift equipment and tools when required.
• Able to stand for extended periods during equipment installation and servicing.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces or elevated areas when necessary.
• Willing to travel within Singapore and overseas for customer support and training assignments
