Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site and remote technical service for Sartorius equipment, ensuring reliable system operation, customer satisfaction and compliance with defined service standards.

You will perform installations, calibrations and preventive maintenance at customer sites, provide on-site and remote technical support, document activities and follow safety, quality and escalation procedures; a driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

2+ years in field service, maintenance or technical support roles involving electronic, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems in a customer-facing environment.
Basic understanding of automation and robotics systems.
Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

Perform installations, calibrations and preventive maintenance activities on Sartorius equipment at customer sites by applying approved service procedures and adhering to internal and customer guidelines.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers by analyzing reported issues and applying corrective actions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Escalate complex technical issues to higher support levels by documenting findings and following defined escalation processes.
Maintain accurate and complete service documentation using approved service and reporting systems for transparency and compliance.
Ensure adherence to customer-specific and internal health and safety requirements during all service activities by following safety instructions and site regulations.
Apply standard service procedures and guidelines consistently by following defined processes and quality standards.
