Job summary

Park Place Technologies seeks a Field Service Engineer to provide onsite diagnostic and analytic support for customers within a defined territory. You will respond to hardware failures, perform tests, analyze logs, and coordinate parts and repairs under SLA with 24/7 on-call coverage.

You must be willing to travel up to 75% to client sites. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of OEM data center hardware experience, a valid driver's license, and certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Server+.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of experience working with OEM data center hardware.
Proven field service experience.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new products quickly.
Understanding of OEM equipment and compatibility requirements.
Ability to work long and irregular hours including on-call 24/7.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
CompTIA A+ and Server+ certifications required.
Valid driver’s license with suitable driving record.

Responsibilities

Provides onsite technical customer support and ensures fast, professional response to service needs.
Willingness to be scheduled for shifts at any time of day.
Performs remote problem analysis to minimize downtime and trips.
Repairs hardware, storage networks, and system configurations.
Maintains professional attitude and effective communication with customers.
Analyzes logs and uses diagnostic tools for timely repair.
Diagnoses and fixes hardware and software issues across OEM equipment.
Manages inventory and parts to meet service contracts.
Attends regular team meetings and completes audit forms and time reports.
