Job summary

Veeco in Singapore is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, repair and maintain our advanced semiconductor equipment at customer sites. You will train customers and ensure systems operate at peak performance, often under tight schedules.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Engineering and at least five years of hands-on field service experience, preferably with Veeco Laser Annealing equipment. Willingness to travel is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Robotics/Mechatronics, or related field.
Minimum 5 years hands-on field service experience in semiconductor packaging or related processes.
Experience with Veeco Laser Annealing Equipment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver on-site installation, calibration, repair, preventive maintenance of complex equipment.
Provide customer training and ensure systems meet expected performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues; plan upgrades and engineering changes.
Coordinate with account team and management; maintain time sheets and reports.
Proactively communicate with customers to manage expectations and resolution.
Travel frequently to customer sites as required.
