Job summary

Oxford Instruments is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and train customers on Nano Analysis products in SE Asia, with emphasis on Raman Microscopy, AFM, EDS, EBSD, and Nanomanipulators. The role requires strong technical knowledge and willingness to travel.

You will install systems, provide on-site training, troubleshoot, and support promotions of service contracts and spares, while building strong customer relationships across the region.

Qualifications

• Material Science or Engineering degree essential.
• Experience with Raman Microscopy and AFM in a Nanotech environment.
• Experience with analytical instruments: SEM, EDS, EBSD.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain on-site systems and provide basic customer training.
• Troubleshoot and repair systems to specification and return to full operation.
• Promote maintenance contracts and service products to customers.
• Provide field reports and knowledge transfer to customers and internal teams.
