Job summary

Teradyne Asia Pte Ltd is seeking an Electronics Engineer/Field Service Engineer for on-site maintenance of HDD test systems in Woodlands. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, develop maintenance plans, and conduct regular customer meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or related engineering field preferred.
Strong mechatronics fundamentals with knowledge of bearings, gearboxes, actuators and pneumatics.
Solid understanding of AC/DC, power distribution and grounding.
Experience with sensors, transducers and analog/digital signals.
Ability to analyze data using AI tools or Excel; proficient MS Office skills.
Excellent English communication and presentation abilities; team player; travel-ready.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on HDD test systems and related machinery.
Improve troubleshooting methods and processes continuously.
Develop preventive and corrective maintenance execution plans.
Fluent 8D problem solving using FMEA, Fishbone, 5-Why, and 4W1H.
Conduct regular customer meetings to discuss plans, service actions, and reports.
Maintain strong customer relationships for satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
