Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a hands-on Electronics/Mechatronics engineer to troubleshoot HDD test systems and assist customers worldwide. You will analyze data using MS Office, develop maintenance plans, and drive continuous improvement in service processes.

The role requires 3+ years in HDD test environments, strong mechatronics fundamentals, and excellent communication in English. Travel internationally is expected, with visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or related Eng discipline.
• 3+ years in HDD test systems, service, or maintenance.
• Solid mechatronics fundamentals and electronics knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office and data analysis tools.
• Willingness to travel internationally and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on HDD test systems and storage machines.
• Continuously improve troubleshooting methods and processes.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Fluent in 8D problem-solving tools (FMEA, Fishbone, 5-Why, 4W1H).
• Lead customer meetings to discuss installation, service activities, and reports.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships for long-term partnership.
