Job summary

TERADYNE (ASIA) PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain HDD test systems and smart storage equipment in Woodlands.

The role requires working 12-hour rotating shifts on-site and collaborating with engineers and production teams to keep downtime to a minimum. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, publish shift reports, and help drive continuous improvements in troubleshooting methods.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of mechatronic fundamentals: bearings, gearboxes, actuators, pneumatic systems.
Electrical fundamentals: AC/DC, power distribution, grounding.
Electronics fundamentals: sensors, transducers, analog/digital signals.

Responsibilities

Install and set up new machines.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on HDD test systems.
Improve troubleshooting methods and processes.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Monitor machine performance and reduce downtime.
Support root-cause analysis and provide solutions.
Collaborate with engineers and production teams.
Publish shift reports.
