Job summary

Rehlko Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced field service professional to install, commission and train customers on-site for diesel generators and related power systems.

You will provide after-sales technical support, troubleshoot issues, and assist distributors with warranty claims. Travel across Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia will be required, with a focus on maintaining quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• This position requires fair amount of traveling in the Asia Pacific and South East Asia Region.
• A team player with strong problem-solving skills and task oriented.
• Possess strong customer service orientation, enthusiasm for power generation products.
• Prior mechanical experience with engines (MHI, MTU, John Deere, Volvo) will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, commissioning and on-site training to support customers according to the project scope.
• Provides after sales technical support, troubleshooting and site service to customers in a timely manner to ensure product operation.
• Handles wide range of diesel generator sets (small to large capacity) to support service and training.
• Keeps technical and training documents up-to-date and organized.
• Provides training to distributors and dealers for service and troubleshooting skills.
• Maintains close working relationships with key customers to ensure follow-through until issues are resolved.
• Performs factory tests for special projects and offers technical assistance.
• Investigates root causes of failures and recommends solutions.
• Deals with warranty issues from a technical aspect.
• Performs other service and training duties as assigned.
