Basic Functions
- Investigate and handle all customers’ complaints and product failures.
- Providing after‑sales technical support and site service responsibilities to distributors/end customers.
- Review and assist in processing warranty claims from distributors.
- Standby support and 24/7 emergency call for customer support.
Specific Responsibilities
- Provide the installation, commissioning and on‑site training to support the customers according to the scope of the project.
- Provide after‑sales technical support, troubleshooting and site service to customers in a timely manner to ensure that the product is operational.
- Handle a wide range of diesel generator sets (small to large capacity) to provide support to departments in terms of service and training.
- Ensure all technical and training documents are up‑to‑date and organized.
- Provide specific training to distributors and dealers for service and troubleshooting skillsets, ensuring optimum service level at all distributors.
- Maintain close working relationship with key customers to ensure follow‑through until the issue is resolved.
- Provide technical assistance on factory test of special projects.
- Investigate root causes of failures and recommend solutions.
- Deal with customers on warranty issues from the technical aspect.
- Perform any other service and training duties as and when assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Diploma/degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Fair amount of traveling in the Asia Pacific and South East Asia region is required.
- Team player with strong problem‑solving skills and task orientation.
- Possess strong customer service orientation and enthusiasm for power‑generation products.
- Prior mechanical experience with engines (MHI, MTU, John Deere, Volvo) will be advantageous.
