Job summary

Makino Asia Group seeks a Field Service Engineer to install and commission machining centres and EDM machines at customer sites in Singapore. You will provide pre- and post-installation support, troubleshoot on-site for local and regional clients, and deliver clear service reports to ensure customer satisfaction.

Applicants should have a technical diploma with CNC experience, strong electrical troubleshooting, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma in related technical field with 2 years of experience in machine tools or CNC service.
Experience in CNC installation and service preferred.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills are an advantage.
Proficient with MS Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Provide installation and commissioning of machining centres or EDM machines at customer sites.
Conduct pre-installation and post-installation visits and checkups.
Offer field service support and troubleshooting to local and overseas customers.
Respond to customer complaints and perform scheduled/unscheduled service.
Document service reports and customer correspondence clearly.
Educate customers on basic maintenance and technical support of machines.
Document, label, and return defective parts following service.
Update service reports and complete required documentation including expense reports.
