Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Field Service Engineer for its GEIS business, based in Singapore. You will conduct field work on CCTV and Fire & Safety systems, including commissioning, configuration, upgrades, service, repair and installation at customer sites, with remote support and on-site client interaction.

You should have CCTV experience, IP networking knowledge, and be willing to travel globally. Fluent English and strong teamwork are essential in this demanding oil & gas environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Willing to work in challenging oil and gas environments, offshore platforms, onshore facilities, rigs, LNG vessels.
• Experience with CCTV systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of IP networking, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills; able to travel globally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field work: commissioning, service, upgrades, configuration, repair and installation at customer sites.
• Configure devices and troubleshoot IP networks.
• Provide remote support to customers via online tools.
• Communicate with clients and shipowners on-site; handle commissioning and upgrading works.
• Develop methods and best practices for delivering outstanding service.
• Report non-conformance and maintain client relationships.
