Job summary

Ryxotech in Singapore is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our service operations team. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at client sites to ensure maximum uptime and reliable performance for our customers.

The role requires frequent travel to local and overseas client sites, strong diagnostic and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while upholding safety, quality, and service standards across all assignments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 2–5 years field service experience in semiconductor equipment or OEM solutions.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel and work independently at various customer sites.
• Knowledge of SAP Business Network/Ariba workflows is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment at various client sites (local/overseas).
• Manage parts lifecycle services including new, repair, overhaul, and rework.
• Provide technical support and training to customers to ensure proper equipment usage and performance.
• Document service activities, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records in compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve service processes and operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards during all service activities.
