Job summary

ADECCO PERSONNEL PTE LTD is seeking a Field Support Engineer to perform corrective maintenance and restore systems to operational condition across SIMPLE hardware and software. You will monitor system availability, manage spare parts, and participate in preventive maintenance with vendor coordination.

The role requires hands-on networking troubleshooting experience, familiarity with MPLS, firewalls, DNS, and experience with F5 load balancers is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in network troubleshooting and diagnosing complex issues.
• F5 Certified Administrator (201) is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Field Support—to carry out Corrective Maintenance (CM) as a result of failure of the hardware and software related to SIMPLE.
• Restore the system to its operational condition.
• Monitor and maintain records of system operational availability and reliability including MTBF/MTTR, downtime, and hardware/software versions.
• Field Testing—to carry out software testing on the system for new bug fixes.
• Ensure correct configuration of the system for testing and production use.
• Spares Services—to manage spares provisioning, support and test equipment stored at Authority site.
• Store keeping—receipt, issue and disposal.
• Carry out serviceability checks on spares and rectify faults promptly.
• Monitor end-of-life and end-of-support status of spares and installed hardware.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM) on hardware per план schedule with checklists and PM reports.
• Calibration Services—to liaise with vendor for calibration of test equipment.
