is seeking an Engineer level to join a dynamic engineering team responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and servicing semiconductor equipment and vacuum pump systems, with opportunities for overseas technical training. The role will involve field service at customer sites, diagnostics, reporting, and coordination with clients and internal teams, with path from Assistant Engineer to Senior Engineer depending on experience; Mandarin

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience.
• Training provided; candidates with service/maintenance/field service experience encouraged.
• Willingness to travel for overseas training.
• Mandarin proficiency required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation start-up, commissioning and preventive maintenance at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test dry and wet vacuum pumps per procedures.
• Interpret technical drawings and test results to identify faults.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
• Coordinate service activities with customers and internal teams.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and support handover.
• Travel for overseas training programmes as required.
• Follow safety, quality, and cleanroom procedures.

Job Summary:

Join a dynamic engineering team supporting the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of semiconductor equipment and vacuum pump systems, with opportunities for overseas technical training.

Responsibilities:

Thejob title willbe determined basedon your relevant experience andwill range fromAssistant Engineer toEngineer to SeniorEngineer. Senior Engineers willbe expected tolead and supervisea team ofAssistant Engineers.

• Assist with or carry out installation start-up, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and corrective servicing of semiconductor equipment and vacuum systems at customer sites.
• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, reassembly, testing, and performance verification of dry and wet vacuum pumps in accordance with approved procedures.
• Interpret technical drawings, operating data, and test results to identify faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare accurate service reports, maintenance records, fault analyses, test results, parts usage records, and follow‑up action documentation.
• Coordinate service activities with customers and internal teams to ensure timely completion of assigned work and effective issue resolution.
• Support preparation of tools, spare parts, and service documentation to ensure smooth project execution and handover.
• Escalate complex technical issues with clear supporting information and recommendations.
• Provide guidance and support to junior engineers on assigned projects where required.
• Comply with all workplace safety, quality, equipment isolation, and cleanroom procedures.
• Participate in overseas product and technical training programmes in assigned locations.

Requirements:

• Assistant Engineer:NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma inMechatronics, MechanicalEngineering, or arelated discipline.
• Engineer / Senior Engineer:Diplomaor Degree inElectrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, MechanicalEngineering, or arelated discipline, with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience with semiconductor equipment, vacuum systems or related industrial equipment.
• No experience isrequired, as trainingwill be provided. Candidates with relevantexperience inservice, maintenance, repair, field service, orequipment assemblyare encouraged toapply.
• Experience in semiconductor,vacuum, or industrialequipment is anadvantage.
• Basic mechanical andelectrical troubleshootingskills preferred.
• Vacuum pump servicingexperienceis an advantage.
• Familiarity with handtools and testequipment.
• Relevant internship orhands‑on technicalexperienceis an advantage.
• Willingness to travel and participate in overseas technical training programmes for extended periods.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to liaise effectively with Mandarin‑speaking customers.
