Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have or be pursuing a degree in civil/structural engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering, architecture or related field.

• Prior enforcement/investigation experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Site inspections and investigations to document regulatory breaches and interview witnesses.
• Engage homeowners and businesses to explain rules and regulations.
• Enforcement actions including serving formal notices to secure compliance.
• Review and assess appeals, providing balanced recommendations.
• Manage challenging interactions with the public using de-escalation techniques.
