Job summary

Building and Construction Authority in Singapore is seeking an Engineer/Senior Engineer to safeguard safety and compliance of fixed installations. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering from a university recognised by the Professional Engineers Board.
Registration as a Professional Engineer, or progress towards attaining it, would be an advantage.
Strong analytical skills, good communication, and the ability to write clear and well-structured reports are important for this role.

Responsibilities

Safeguard the safety and compliance of fixed installations in Singapore.
Process applications for approvals of new installations.
Conduct audit inspections on existing installations.
Take enforcement actions against offenders who contravene the law.
Review, formulate and implement policies and rules to shape and transform the industry.
Engage with stakeholders through public education, outreach sessions and technical seminars.
