Job summary

SEMICONDUCT TECHNOLOGIES & INSTRUMENTS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Customer Support Engineer to provide on-site and remote technical support, troubleshoot equipment, and resolve process issues.

You will coordinate projects between customers and internal teams, conduct technical training, gather feedback for product improvements, and assist with installation and validation of new equipment, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics).
• 2–5 years of experience in Field Application or technical support.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment/manufacturing preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset with good service attitude.
• Willingness to travel for customer support and on-site assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Troubleshoot equipment, application, and process-related issues.
• Coordinate project activities between customers and internal teams (R&D, Production, Sales).
• Support project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
• Conduct technical training sessions for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare training materials, user manuals, and application guides.
• Gather customer feedback on product performance and requirements.
• Provide insights to internal teams for product improvement and development.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
• Support and conduct sample testing at customer sites.
• Analyze test results and provide technical recommendations.
• Perform installation, setup, and validation of new equipment.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and standards.
