Job summary

Flexxon in Singapore seeks an experienced Field Application Technician to provide technical support, manage RMAs, and drive quality improvements. You will work with engineering, manufacturing, quality, sales, and service teams to troubleshoot hardware, software, and firmware, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to product validation.

The role requires 3–5 years of FAE experience, proficiency in English and Chinese, and familiarity with Windows/Linux, ERP/CRM, and RMA systems.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Microelectronics, or related.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese for liaising with associates in China.
• 3–5 years of Field Application Engineer/FAE experience.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems preferred.
• Experience with knowledge management systems and practices.
• Understanding of automation and AI technologies and their application in workflow improvements.

Responsibilities

• Technical support to external and internal teams; diagnose hardware, software, firmware, and system issues.
• Manage RMA requests; inspect, test, and determine failure causes; repair/refurbish as applicable.
• Support CAPA and quality improvement initiatives; analyze field data and trends.
• Perform product demonstrations and customer training; maintain professional customer relationships.
• Prepare reports, failure analyses, and update documentation and knowledge bases.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and Service teams; communicate feedback for product improvement.
