Job summary

DEZIRE TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Project Coordinator to supervise on-site installation, testing and commissioning of rail E&M systems and fibre optic infrastructure in Singapore transit environments.

You will interface with stakeholders, manage schedules and ensure quality. The role requires a diploma/degree in engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to travel between office and sites, with flexibility for night/irregular hours.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer, Network, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 3 years in project coordination, site installation, testing and commissioning of rail E&M system, communications network or fibre optic infrastructure in Singapore transit environment.
• Relevant experience coordinating with local transit stakeholders (railway/transit operator) for A&A, system upgrades, or new system implementation at revenue stations.
• Familiarity with Permit-to-Work (PTW), Mod Approval, engineering access procedures and stakeholder coordination in railway environments would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site installation, testing and commissioning, interfacing matters, integration testing, punchlist/defect work and handover activity to ensure the quality of work is compliant with project requirement.
• Coordinate with project team, contractors, interfacing contractors and other project stakeholders to resolve site issues and clashes to ensure the work is in line with project requirement.
• Facilitate project team to monitor the project schedule, update, review and report the project progress to be in line with project timeline.
• Attend project related meetings to ensure project delivery is on track.
• Supervise site surveys, FO routing verification, cable installation, network equipment installation and testing and commissioning activities.
• Facilitate resolution of site constraints, routing conflicts, FO core allocation issues and implementation-related technical matters.
• Support the troubleshooting and resolution of network equipment configuration issues, communication failures, network connectivity issues and system integration issues encountered during installation, testing, commissioning and migration activities.

• Relevant experience in coordinating and interfacing with local transit stakeholders(i.e. railway/transit operator) to carry out A&A, system upgrading or newsystem implementation work at revenue stations.
• Familiarity with Permit-to-Work (PTW), Mod Approval, engineering access procedures and stakeholder coordination in railway environments would be an advantage.
• Be expected to perform night work or engineering-hours work where required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, BIM or similar drawing tools for design drawing review.
• Good collaboration and attitude to work with team members.
• Ability to cope with flexible working hours.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Be expected to travel regularly between office and sites.
