Job summary

APBA TG Human Resource Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Project Coordinator to supervise on-site installation, testing, commissioning, and handover for rail E&M systems in Singapore. You will interface with the project team, contractors, and transit stakeholders to resolve clashes and ensure compliance with project requirements.

You will review specifications and drawings, monitor schedules, and lead progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer, Network, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years in project coordination, site installation, testing and commissioning of rail E&M or related systems in Singapore transit environments.
• Experience coordinating with local transit stakeholders for A&A, system upgrades or new implementations at revenue stations.
• Be prepared for night/engineer-hours work and travel between office and sites.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, BIM or similar drawing tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site installation, testing and commissioning, interfacing, integration testing and handover to ensure quality per project requirements.
• Coordinate with project team, contractors and stakeholders to resolve site issues and clashes in line with project needs.
• Review submissions (drawings, procedures, specs) and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor project schedule, meetings, updates and progress reporting to meet timelines.
• Supervise site surveys, FO routing verification, cable installation and network equipment testing.
• Facilitate resolution of site constraints, routing conflicts and technical matters related to implementation.
• Support troubleshooting of network configurations, connectivity and system integration during installation, testing and migration.

Job description

Key Responsibility :

• Supervise on-site installation, testing and commissioning, interfacing matters, integration testing, defect work and handover activity to ensure the quality of work is compliant with project requirement.

• Coordinate with project team, contractors, interfacing contractors and other project stakeholders to resolve site issues and clashes to ensure the work is in line with project requirement.

• Review project related submission (specification, drawing, test procedure and method statement etc.) and facilitate project team in the following-up to ensure the submission is compliant with project requirement.

• Facilitate project team to monitor the project schedule, meetings, update, review and report the project progress to be in line with project timeline.

• Supervise site surveys, FO routing verification, cable installation, network equipment installation and testing and commissioning activities.

• Facilitate resolution of site constraints, routing conflicts, FO core allocation issues and implementation-related technical matters.

• Support the troubleshooting and resolution of network equipment configuration issues, communication failures, network connectivity issues and system integration issues encountered during installation, testing, commissioning and migration activities.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer, Network, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• At least 3 years in project coordination, site installation, testing and commissioning of rail E&M system, communications network or fiber optic infrastructure in Singapore transit environment.

• Relevant experience in coordinating and interfacing with local transit stakeholders (i.e. railway/transit operator) to carry out A&A, system upgrading or new system implementation work at revenue stations.

• Be expected to perform night work or engineering-hours work where required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, BIM or similar drawing tools for design drawing review.

• Good collaboration and attitude to work with team members.

• Ability to cope with flexible working hours.

• Be expected to perform night work or work during engineering hours.

• Be expected to travel regularly between office and sites.
