Job summary

Argus Media in Singapore seeks a qualified Business Developer to drive regional strategies across Asia and the Middle East, expanding fertilizer market reports and analytics subscriptions. You will engage with industry executives, promote Argus price benchmarks and develop value-added services to address customer needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in price reporting, supply, trading, and/or analysis in fertilizer markets.
• Experience promoting price indexation, business intelligence or market analytics services in energy or fertilizer-related industries.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with ability to build long-lasting relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional strategies across Asia and the Middle East to increase usage of Argus price assessments and grow the regional subscription business.
• Support strategic sector objectives by developing broker/exchange relationships and Argus-based fertilizer derivatives.
• Build relationships with fertilizer industry executives through proactive engagement.
• Collaborate with editors to develop price assessments, methodologies and new products addressing client needs.
• Understand client requirements for fundamentals data and fertilizer price forecasts.
• Monitor competitive landscape and propose strategies to maintain market leadership.
• Support account managers to grow accounts and demonstrate value of Argus services at meetings.
• Represent Argus at industry conferences and events and participate in speaking engagements.
