Job summary

Argus Media Singapore Group PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified Business Developer to expand fertilizer market coverage in Asia and the Middle East.

You will lead regional strategies, build relationships with industry decision-makers, and promote Argus price benchmarks while solving customer pain points. The role emphasizes extensive travel, collaboration with editors and senior executives, and delivering intelligence to inform product development and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

Experience promoting price indexation, business intelligence or market analytics services in energy or fertilizer-related industries.
7+ years of experience in price reporting, supply, trading, and/or analysis in fertilizer markets.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with senior stakeholders.
Ability to uncover customers’ problems and align them to value proposition.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute regional strategies across Asia and the Middle East to increase usage of Argus price assessments.
Support strategic sector objectives and develop fertilizer derivatives.
Build relationships with fertilizer executives through proactive engagement.
Collaborate with editors to develop price assessments and new products.
Coordinate regional fertilizer strategy with leadership and report opportunities.
